James Wilson Institute interviews Joseph Tartakovsky

On Friday, June 15th, JWI’s Deputy Director Garrett Snedeker and Intern Michael McCall shared a discussion with Joseph Tartakovsky, author of the new book The Lives of the Constitution: Ten Exceptional Minds that Shaped America’s Supreme Law (Encounter Books, 2018). Mr. Tartakovsky, a lawyer by trade, is currently the James Wilson Fellow in Constitutional Law at the Claremont Institute for the Study of Statesmanship and Political Philosophy. Tartakovsky has set out to tell not just the story of the American Constitution, but also to tell it anew, through the lives of ten historical personages who had a hand in influencing the character of and the cultural fabric that surrounds our national document.
